Sales Policy

We require a non-refundable, 50% deposit to hold any animal.  Any animal purchased must be picked up within 7 days of purchase (unless other arrangements have been made) or will be charged $2.00 per day for boarding costs.


If anything happens to affect the health or soundness of an animal for which a deposit has been paid while the animal is still in our possession, the buyer will have the option to select an alternate animal which has also been offered for sale at or near the original selling price.  If there are no similar animals available we will refund the buyer’s deposit.  What is considered to be a “similar” animal will be determined at our discretion.

We guarantee that animals are in good health and free of injury or disease at the time of purchase. We also guarantee that intact bucks and does will breed if provided with the proper care, environment, and nutrition.  We make no other guarantees or warranties, either expressed or implied.  If any subsequent claims are made by the buyer, contesting the health, physical condition, or (if applicable) breeding soundness of the purchased animal as of the date of sale, they must be substantiated by a physical examination and applicable medical tests performed by a licensed veterinarian and provided to us in writing to be considered for a refund. If a refund has been granted on any animal and the animal is still living, the animal must be returned to River Legacy Ranch at the buyer's expense.  Does sold as "exposed" with a service memo are NOT guaranteed to be bred.

All breeding and show stock will be sold with application for ABGA registration or, if registered prior, the certificate will be provided within 30 days of purchase. 


All transportation expenses and health certificates, if required, are the responsibility of the buyer.
